Muhammad Ali TK is a prominent literary translator known for his exceptional contributions to the field of Arabic-to-Malayalam literary translation. Born on May 25, 1987, in Perinthalmanna, India, he has dedicated his career to bridging the worlds of Arabic and Malayalam literature, enriching the literary landscape in both languages.
Muhammad Ali's academic journey has been marked by significant accomplishments. He holds a Master's degree in Arabic from the University of Calicut, a testament to his deep-rooted love for the Arabic language. Additionally, he earned a Master's degree in English from the prestigious Indira Gandhi National Open University.
His commitment to academic excellence is underscored by his NET-ARABIC certification from the University Grants Commission (UGC), solidifying his expertise in Arabic literature.
Muhammad Ali's distinctive contributions to the literary world are evident through his translation work. He is the author of several research papers, including "Muhavalathu Thajdeed Fi Al Nahv Al Arabi Fi Al Asri Al Hadeees" published in Majalla Kairala, a journal by the Department of Arabic at the University of Kerala. Notable works include "Vailinte Pusthakam,"(سفر الشمس) a translation of Modern Arabic stories into Malayalam, “Inn Aval Punjirichu” a Malayalam Translation of a short-story collection named " اليوم تبسمت" and "Akalathinte Alavukal,"(مسافة البعد) a collection of Modern and Contemporary Arabic poems rendered into Malayalam. These translations, published by the Department of Arabic at SNGS College, Pattambi, Kerala have deepened the appreciation of Arabic literary treasures among Malayalam readers.
