About Course

Fiqh Literature II introduces learners to the essential jurisprudential rulings related to prayer (الصلاة), traveling prayers, congregation, and special circumstances affecting worship.
This course builds upon the foundational fiqh knowledge learned in Year 1 and helps students understand practical Islamic rulings that apply to daily religious life.

Through selected chapters from classical fiqh texts, learners gain clarity on the conditions, obligations, pillars, Sunnahs, and correct performance of salah, along with guidance on salah during travel, illness, and unique situations.

What Will You Learn?

  • Conditions, obligations, and pillars of Salah
  • Sunnahs, invalidators, and correct performance of prayer
  • Rulings of congregation (صلاة الجماعة) and imamate
  • Qasr & Jamʿ (shortening & combining) prayers while traveling
  • Special rulings for illness, fear-salah, desert-prayer & emergency circumstances
