About Course

This course provides an overview of the major historical phases of Islam after the Prophet ﷺ and explores the development of Arabic literature from the early Islamic period to the Umayyad era.
Learners study the political, cultural, and intellectual contributions of early caliphates along with the evolution of poetry, prose, and literary styles in classical Arabic heritage.

This Year-2 course builds directly on foundational knowledge gained in Year 1 and deepens students’ understanding of Islamic civilization and Arabic literary history.
