About Course
Humanism and Logic is a foundational skill-based course designed to develop learners’ reasoning abilities, analytical thinking, and humanistic understanding of the world.
The course introduces the science of reasoning—logic—and explores its role in language, culture, ethics, science, literature, and social life. Alongside logical training, students engage with core humanistic ideas such as compassion, equality, nonviolence, fraternity, empathy, and global coexistence.
Through stories, philosophical concepts, and cross-cultural texts, learners gain a balanced view of rationality and human values, helping them become thoughtful, logical, and compassionate individuals.
This course is compulsory for UG students pursuing UG Courses like B.A. Afzal-ul-Ulama and BA Arabic at SGOU.
