📖 Course Description:
This course provides an advanced study of Arabic grammar and syntax, covering the four main domains: structure/syntax, morphology (ṣarf), parsing (i‘rāb), and rare grammatical combinations. Students will gain the ability to analyze and apply grammar rules in both spoken and written Arabic, with emphasis on accuracy and fluency.
The syllabus includes detailed lessons on muta‘addī and lāzim verbs, numbers, defective nouns and verbs, particles, masdars, i‘lāl, and ibdāl. Learners will also explore specialized grammar topics, including al-af‘āl al-khamsa, al-maṣādir, and advanced parsing structures, ensuring a deep understanding of the mechanics of the Arabic language.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped to apply grammatical knowledge effectively, construct grammatically sound sentences, and utilize Modern Standard Arabic confidently in academic and professional contexts.
